In today's generation, gender equality is a thing that most people shouts for. Long ago, men and women are treated differently. Men are treated a lot better than women because it is said that they are more strong, bold, and fierce. Women in the other hand, are being treated poorly because they are said to be weak, and they are the main victims of abuse, since they are believed to be powerless.

But as time goes by, people are getting more conscious on women abuse, until it wasn't tolerated anymore. People have realized that women aren't powerless at all, instead, thay can be more strong than men. They also carry a lot of responsibilities as a person, especially as mother. That is why they have been recognized for their strong personalities, through the celebration of the National Women's Month, which is on the month of March. The 2021 National Women's Month Celebration is a tribute, a forum, and a call to action that recognizes ordinary Juanas' exceptional contributions to society as trailblazers and change agents. This festival also serves as a forum for discussing and addressing the challenges that women continue to face in order to achieve maximum empowerment. The movement is also a rallying cry for meaningful, long-term solutions.

The main goal for the festival is to inspire and encourage women and girls to be change agents – to further promote gender equality and women's empowerment for everyone. Though this is mainly for the women, every one of us deserves to be respected as a person, and not based on gender. Promote gender equality.
